This, That, and Other

December 31, 2007

So, I have successfully not posted in days…I think this happens when I am not on the computer every day. Plus, we have done lots of driving around, visiting with family, etc etc. These are my execuses.

Profound thought: the absence of stress makes life soooooo much easier! Okay, I know everyone already knew this.

Gotta give props to Casting Crowns for their new CD, The Altar and the Door. I got it for Christmas. They write good songs…songs of struggle, songs of truth…good stuff!

Well, work beckons. Being in a financial dept.  this is year-end close…otherwise known as: insane, crazy, maniacal. Or how about an oldie, ape.

Blog Modifications

December 13, 2007

So, this is the first post of the second 100 posts…isn’t that exciting?? Okay, I agree, it really isn’t, but we have a wonderful way of making mundane things really exciting or meaningful because they are “personal.” I figured that for this next section of posts I would do some things a bit different. For instance, I’m gonna make an attempt to be a little more regular at writing. I was actually surprised to find that I averaged about 1 post every 3 days…but I know there are some long stretches in there with nothing. This shouldnt’ be hard, especially the 2nd half of the year when Peanut arrives and I am doing hourly updates for the grandparents:) I also am going to start using tags. Go figure, I don’t tag any of my posts. I kinda doubt I will use them for much, but maybe that is the fun of writing a blog…grouping and organizing. You would think I would already be grouping and organizing (that is one of the quirks I have).

Don’t you love writing a blog and not really having anything to say? This is my mind at the moment…mushy mass of indistinct stuff. I have a breather of an evening from closing out the semester, only because I have church meetings and cannot get too much done. I have an exam on Wed., but I am pretty much done with everything on Monday…it is almost here!
